I am on my mother’s Costco membership. Since it’s just me and Jason, we don’t go that often but sometimes I get the Costco craving and it’s for three things that I can’t really find anywhere else. The Costco trifecta of deliciousness, if you will.

Hannah brand hummus and taboule. Whoever Hannah is, she makes some good Mediterranean food. Although I thought the correct spelling was tabbouleh. I’ll forgive her, because it’s good. The Pita Pal Pearl Couscous salad is something that they only have sometimes and I get irrationally excited when they do. I know I could probably make this at home, but it’s just not as good. So, for dinner last night, I made a little tasting plate with the trifecta. I also added some carrots, feta and olives.

It has come to my attention, via Jason, that I don’t eat a lot of salads at home. It’s mostly because I’m lazy and don’t want to chop up veggies, I think, because a salad is one of my go-tos on a restaurant menu. I decided that he was right and I needed to eat more salads at home. So, for dinner tonight, I basically turned my tasting plate into a salad with the addition of arugula, mushrooms, tomato and green pepper.

The only problem with the trifecta of deliciousness is it’s a little too delicious. It’s one thing to polish off a regular sized container of hummus in a couple of days, it’s quite another to polish off the Costco sized serving. Duly noted.

haha – i love that you made a salad after our conversation.
i have a massive bag of couscous that i’m not allowed to eat. i’ll trade you for bagels.
Ha, I already have a 4 lb bag of quinoa from there! I still can’t believe I forgot those bagels!
Ohhh perfect timing! I just switched from Sam’s to Costco and have been SO overwhelmed by the amazing products and picking what to buy. Those huge containers of almond butter were enough to make me join but THIS stuff looks soooo good. Can’t wait to try.
It is in the Kosher refrigerated section (at least at the Brookhaven Costco, it was).
I feel you! The hummus we buy from Costco says it has 17 servings in the container. HA! That is laughable. I don’t think I have ever gotten 17 servings ever…more like 7 if I am lucky.
This one has 32!!! I think, between the two of us, we’ll make it last for 10.
We have a costco membership, but rarely use it…I need to get over there!
Yum! That looks so tasty!1 I have been making more salads at home for dinner too and it’s funny that I used to shy away from that and just make them as lunch type things!
I love tabbouleh. My stepmom makes a great version of it that’s probably not at all authentic but very good. I love anything vinegar-based. It is vinegar-based, right?
I love stocking up on the staples at Costco – Almond Butter & Hummus are a steal!
Oh, this makes me so excited! They just announced last week that we are getting a Costco! It’s not on my side of town but it’s a smidge closer than Sam’s Club.
I’ve been eying that couscous salad every time I go in. Good to know it is as tasty as it looks!
Okay that all does look seriously good!
I could polish off a Costco sized hummus in probably one sitting, so you’re doing just fine
UGH, I was just by Costco a little while ago! I wish I had read this before I was over than and passed on going. Now I have a huge craving for some Hannah goodness!
Our costco doesn’t have that brand of hummus, but we have pita pal which is amazing. I <3 my membership even though I only go once or twice a month. It's the only place I get gas though!
The Costco closest to me doesn’t have a gas station, but I used to work across the street from a different one that did and I would only get my gas there.
That pearl couscous looks AWESOME!
